A one-minute-and-32-second-long video of several secondary school boys beating up one of their schoolmates has gone viral on Facebook.
The video starts with a group of students crowding around the camera in a classroom, happily posing for a picture. The footage then gets abruptly cut before starting up again to show one of the students kicking and punching another student, who still had his bag with him.
It would go on for about 20 seconds before other boys joined in the attack although other students are heard shouting, “Dahlah, dahlah!” (“Enough, enough!”) in the background.
Towards the end of the video, the bully was seen smiling directly into the camera, as if extremely pleased with what he had done.
As of time of writing, the video has been shared more than 8,000 times since it was first posted on the PDRM Facebook page.
We’d like to remind kids to please seek help from teachers or adults, or better yet flag your parents if you’re a victim of school bullying. It’s a serious issue and people can get really, really hurt. Things like this shouldn’t happen – not to you, not to anybody. Especially not in school.
