Hong Kong singer-songwriter G.E.M. will perform at The MAX Pavilion at the Singapore Expo on 31st January next year, said the concert’s organisers in a media release on Wednesday (29th Oct).
The gig is part of her G.E.M. X.X.X. Live World Tour, her second solo concert tour. The “X.X.X.” in the title stands for “more to eXpose, more to eXpect and more eXciting”.
Perhaps the most unique part of G.E.M.’s concert is an app especially dedicated to reducing plastic wastage! We hear that concert-goers will be able to download a free mobile phone app made especially for this tour, which will transform their phones into a colour-changing “glow stick”. Whoa.
Tickets are priced at S$248, S$228, S$188, S$128 (yet to include S$4 SISTIC fee) and will be made available from Sistic or ticketing hotline 63485555 from tomorrow, 10am onwards.
G.E.M.’s stage moniker stands for “Get Everybody Moving”, and the 21-year-old became the youngest singer to do 10 shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum, when she performed there last April.
UPDATE:
Hong Kong singer G.E.M. will play a second gig in Singapore on Feb 1, 2015 due to overwhelming demand, said concert organisers in a media release on Monday (3rd Nov). The singer was originally slated to stage a single show on 31st Jan at Singapore’s Expo’s The MAX Pavilion, but tickets have been sold out.
So if you haven’t gotten your tickets because the first round was sold out, fret not! You might stand a chance at catching G.E.M. live after all 🙂
