“J.K. Rowling invites you to a new era of the wizarding world.”
Following the extended teaser trailer that was released in April at the MTV Movie Awards 2016, Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” has now released a new featurette focusing on Eddie Redmayne’s character, Newt Scamander.
Isn’t that magical 😉
“My heroes are always people who feel themselves to be set apart, stigmatised, or othered. That’s at the heart of what I write, and it’s certainly at the heart of this movie,” said the “Harry Potter” author.
The writer also mentioned that when she was writing about Harry Potter aka the boy who lived, she was already quite interested in Newt Scamander. Actor Eddie Redmayne also added that his character feels “more at home” with magical creatures than he does with human beings.
The latest teaser video also features never-before-seen footages of the Magiczoologist such as the magical suitcase, some small magical creatures, and a little bit of wand action.

The “Harry Potter” spin-off movie is based on J.K. Rowling’s novel series of the same name and it is set in New York City during the 1920s, which is about 70 years before the events of “Harry Potter”. The story follows the adventures of a distinguished Magiczoologist known as Newt Scamander and it features the wizarding community in the US.
Directed by David Yates, the film also stars Dan Fogler as Jacob the “No-Maj” (American for Muggle), Katherine Waterston as Porpentina Goldstein, Alison Loren Sudol aka A Fine Frenzy as Queenie Goldstein, and Ezra Miller as Credence.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” is slated for worldwide release on 18th November 2016.
