When we got wind that singer-songwriter Prince passed away, it was a shock to all of us. It’s still surreal to some, as the multi-talented artiste was only 57 years old.
Keeping him in mind, The Bee Publika is presenting a tribute performance to the legend. Simply titled “A Tribute to Prince”, the event will be held on 25th June (Saturday) from 9.30pm until 12am.
The event will see sessionists Sharon Chong and Hiran Benton on the keyboard, Dave Kitzkiniki on the guitar, Omar Ibrahim on the drums, and Timothy Tang on the bass guitar, performing the best hits from the prince of pop. Evie Feroza, Jude Macson, and Daryll D, the trio known as the Rainbow Children, will take on the vocals.
There is no entrance fee for “A Tribute to Prince”, but The Bee is an eatery after all, so it’s advised for patrons to at least order a drink while enjoying the music.
The Bee is much more than just food and drinks, as it prides itself as Kuala Lumpur’s go-to for international live music and a vibrant showcase of talents from across the region.
