Bad news for you Seremban folks.
Expect a water disruption due to the 48-inch burst pipe that occurred at Kereta Tanah Melayu (KTM) Seremban yesterday afternoon (Monday, 30th May 2016).
As a result, a minimum of 26 areas in Seremban and Seremban 2 have already experienced water disruption. The New Straits Times reported that Seremban residents will continue to have to no running water until 9pm today (Tuesday, 31st May 2016).
Some of the affected areas are as follows:
- S2 Heights
- Taman Rasah Kemayan
- Taman Bukit Kepayang
- Taman Mantau Indah 1, 2, 3
- Jalan Labu Batu 1-9
- Jalan Sungai Ujong
- Jalan Labu Lama
- Taman Permai
- Kemayan Square
- Bandar Seremban
- Templer
- Lobak
- Rahang Square
- Jalan Zaaba
- Jalan Tuanku Antah l
Other affected areas are Industri Galla, Taman Sri Pulasan, Taman Bukit Galena, Taman Bukit Kristal dan Bukit Kelisa, Taman Duyong, Bukit Merbok, Taman Belimbing dan Belimbing Height, Bukit Kaya, Labu Utama, Labu Jaya, Bukit Labu, Sri Labu, Jasper Jaya, Seruling, Harmonium Indah, Mutiara Galla, and Oakland.
Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan (Sains) said in a statement that repair works are expected to take longer than usual as it involves a railway but they’re hoping to complete it by the given timeline.
“Water supply will be restored in stages after the scheduled time and some areas will have a longer recovery time,” Sains stated.
