If you’re a Malaysian football fan and you enjoyed watching this year’s breakout local movie, “Ola Bola”, then you’re going to be stoked at what’s in store this weekend.
In celebration of Projek57’s official launch this Saturday (21st May 2016) at Atria Shopping Gallery, there will be a meet and greet session with Malaysian sports legends and also the amazing cast from “Ola Bola”.
Projek57, a non-political and non-partisan movement, was founded by Syed Sadiq Albar and Collin Swee last August with a mission to spread “hope and love among Malaysians at a time when such values are sorely needed”. In an effort to create more meaningful movements, Projek57 has been engaging and mobilising people through its creative graphic T-shirts to help give back to the less fortunate communities.
To help celebrate this meaningful event, Malaysian football players like Datuk Soh Chin Aun and Datuk Santokh Singh, as well as members of the Malaysia Hockey 1975 World Cup Semifinalist team will be on location to greet fans. Joining them are the talented cast from “Ola Bola”, the critically acclaimed local film that launch JC Chee, Muhd Luqman Hafidz, Sarankumar, Marianne Tan, and Bront Palarae into the spotlight.
In addition to the Projek57 launch, there will also be a Social Enterprise showcase and a EO Engage Marketplace run by underprivileged teens who have undergone a 10-week entrepreneurship empowerment programme.
