Phase 2 of TREC Kuala Lumpur has finally rolled out, starting with the opening of the first F&B venue, Byblos Cafe and Lounge, at The Hive.
Byblos’ opening will be followed closely by the opening of Le Noir KL, an offshoot of Le Noir Singapore, on 29th May, and subsequently, casual eatery Red Tomato.
TREC was conceived in 2011. In August 2015, the estate saw the launch of Phase 1 with the grand opening of Zouk KL and later, Electric Boulevard (with nearly 20 F&B brands) in Dec 2015.
Complementing Electric Boulevard just next to it, The Hive comprises 2 blocks of semi-D units and some units such as Byblos come with an arresting view of the Royal Selangor Golf Club.
The opening of the first 3 F&B brands at The Hive are a milestone that marks the progressive development of the 7-acre TREC along the bustling Jalan Tun Razak.

With the lead-up to Phase 2, TREC is also beefing up its lifestyle offerings from this month, organising a 2-day big weekend outing on 28th and 29th May, extending the area of fun to Phase 2’s The Hive and Rhapsody Square event spaces.
TREC has also opened its new multi-storey carpark, which adds to a total of 1,000 parking bays within TREC, to meet the demands of the increased visitorship to TREC, especially on weekends.
The new multi-storey carpark is accessible by the 3rd entry via Jalan Kampung Pandan, while the other 2 entries are located along Jalan Tun Razak. The new route to TREC via Jalan Kampung Pandan will help visitors to TREC beat the heavy traffic along Jalan Tun Razak.
Parking at the new multi-storey carpark is free on Fridays and Saturdays from now till June 2016. The first 2-hour free parking applies at Zouk KL’s basement carpark and standard rates apply thereafter.
More F&B brands at Phase 2 will be announced in the coming months.
