BABYz, we know that it has been a long time coming, but your beloved idol boy group B.A.P will finally return to the Korean music scene with some new materials soon 😀
On 2nd August, an associate from B.A.P’s agency TS Entertainment told Korean media outlet Top Star News that the group is “thinking of coming back at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year”.
It’s a much-awaited comeback as all 6 members of the idol boy group were embroiled in a lawsuit drama with TS Entertainment last November. At that time, the members cited unfair income distribution and slave/invalid contracts as the reasons for them submitting the lawsuit to the Seoul Western District Court.
Since then, the members have stayed out of the limelight by stopping all promotions. Through their own fan cafe, they communicated with their fans who supported them through tough times. As B.A.P and TS Entertainment weren’t able to come to a peaceful and amicable agreement, both parties held their first court trial on 13th March.
In what’s considered to be a bold move, B.A.P agreed to return to the company in August this year as TS Entertainment announced on 3rd August that they have regained the trust of each other after a series of “communicational trials and heartfelt efforts“.
However, the agency did not announce whether or not the group will be making a comeback.
If the report is true, it’ll mark their first comeback in more than a year since the release of their first full-length studio album “First Sensibility” and 4th Japanese single “Excuse Me”.
Meanwhile, a TS Entertainment associate further revealed that their new girl group SONAMOO “is thinking of promoting for another 3 weeks with their follow-up song”. They will promote longer if the song fares well.
The associate added, “After SONAMOO wraps up, Untouchable‘s Sleepy or Secret‘s Song Ji Eun will be promoting.”
